A born entertainer, William Dolan began studying dance at the age of 4 and has trained in ballet, tap, modern dance, musical theater and hip hop. A true musician, William now is an accomplished song writer and plays the piano. Today he’s releasing the music video for “Cadillac”, which you can check out on YouTube below:

In the summer of 2017, William was invited to attend IPOP in Los Angeles California. The International Presentation of Performers is an annual event where performers of all ages and from all over the globe come to attend workshops with industry professional, audition for talent agencies, perform and compete! William received top honors for singing and dancing. He auditioned for and was chosen to perform in both the talent, and fashion show segments of the IPOP Gala event at the end of the week. He truly appreciated the opportunity, met great people and was tutored by some of the top professionals in the industry.
Recently, William traveled to Toronto to meet and work with music executive and producer Roy Hamilton III. William has recorded his first single “Cadillac” which along with a music video will be released on July 20th. In the interim, William continues to write, perform in local events, and has recorded 3 more singles.
On the inspiration for the song “Cadillac” William says:
“It’s okay to talk about, and even worry about what’s happening in the world. But, you can still enjoy yourself whether you are a kid or an adult. I’m trying to open kids eyes about important issues and help make the world a better place. I hope to do that by paying respect to the civil rights leaders of the past and the present, and remind people that their goal was to make the world a more peaceful place.
Cadillac means that no matter what race you are or how many problems you are encountering you can still find positivity in something and enjoy the moment. It tells you that you can express your thoughts creatively and honestly. It means peace and joy!”
On making the music video:
“Making the video was an amazing experience. It seemed that one minute I was singing the song for the first time, and the next minute I was shooting a music video for it. It was amazing to know that people were so excited to make a video for my song. Seeing people hear the song for the first time and appreciate and understand the message was such a great feeling. One of the main reasons I wrote the song
was so that people would listen to it and pick up on the positivity. Thank you to everyone who participated, especially my producer Roy Hamilton III. It was a lot of fun and I loved doing the Cadillac dance and eating ice cream with the other kids on the beach!”
