The Tim Lancaster Conspiracy goes for a wild, classic rock meets electro style with the powerful “Tango Down”. Sung with a tremendous amount of fiery passion, the track rushes forward in fantastic colors. Full of infectious melodies and rhythms, the entirety of the piece crests like a wave. Constantly growing and evolving, the Tim Lancaster Conspiracy creates a vast tapestry of sound, from the jagged edges of the guitar to the giddy sounds from the keyboard. By far though the soul of the song comes from the powerful vocals, which have a commanding presence. Further emphasizing the unique style are the samples which are woven deep within the piece’s DNA.

A sample introduces the track giving it a stark introduction and setting the tone. From there the guitar comes in such power. Resembling garage rock at times, the way that the electronic flourishes enter into the overall sound feels particularly masterful. Beats go for a nimble quality, referencing techno and rock simultaneously, presenting a duality that is present within the lyricism. While the piece grows in scope the lyrics do too. The way that his journey begins feels real, and the experience feels outright majestic. Towards the end of the song the way that a nearly psychedelic sound is utilized through the use of the synthesizer feels pitch perfect, bringing things to a carefree close.
