Rowzen – Intro
Rowzen explores an inner tension with the powerful “Intro”. Sung straight from the heart, the storytelling quality of it works as the very soul of the track. Lyrical delivery simply stuns featuring some impressive, immersive flows. The multifaceted, multi-layered work adds to its clear, concise message. As things grow ever more majestic in terms of the journey that Rowzen embarks upon, his arrangement helps to further emphasize the trip. Moments of a life lived fully examined appear over the course of the piece, adding to its emotional heft.
The guitar serves as the backbone of the piece, giving it a delicate, fragile, beauty. Keeping things to the essentials, the guitar sets the tone. When the vocals come into the mix things truly begin in style. Rowzen speaks of the way that pills are unfortunately used too prominently, as a crutch, instead of a simple backup. Emotions become overwhelming, yet it is those very emotions that help others to feel human. Though scary, it is better to embrace life than to experience it in a numbed, muffled way. From there Rowzen discusses his personal beliefs that got him so far, the way he grew up, the way he wants to become, and he does things without flinching at all.
On “Intro” Rowzen delves into a world worth fully embracing, one that goes for truth, honesty, and knowing oneself. The result is a song that becomes nearly confessional with its small snapshots of a life fully lived.
