In this story

N VIII, pronounced “N8,” comes from Fort Valley, Georgia, and the Rive Video Promotion campaign for “Everything Good” started with the single that put the name out there: “Hold Up, Show Nuff (Nae Nae),” inspired by the Nae Nae dance, which passed 3 million YouTube views and was featured on BET’s 106 & Park and MTV Jams.

The next step

“Everything Good” is the first single and video from the album Fashionably L8te. It came out through Club Illionaire/3sixty5 Entertainment, with a deal through Penalty Entertainment’s Associated Label Division and distribution by Sony Red.

Why it was in the inbox

After a dance-craze breakout, “Everything Good” is the record meant to show what comes next.
