Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
TCD: Well I heard about Exposed Vocals on twitter,but it was pure curiosity that got me to sign up.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
TCD: I was born adn raised in Zagreb the capital of Croatia a small country in the south east Europe.I always liked music and it was a big part of my life,and a couple of years ago a friend introduced me to EDM,a few months later I discovered that there were DJ/music producers and I didn’t want to become one of them but then my girfriend dumped me and I don’t know how I found myself making mashups and beats.When I made my first remix I felt on top of the world and my friends liked it,so at that moment I knew I wanted to become an artist.Because my love for music was huge and I wanted to create.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
TCD: I went through a lot of names and at one I stopped, The Cro DJ this was a long name,but a couple of weeks later I rembered I can just make it TCD for short.I got this idea on my own just by going through names of Dj’s I like.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
TCD: Online music sharing is kinda important,because your fans find your music faster this way.All my music is free and I will try to keep it free,I don’t want that some of my fans are left without a copy of my song they like.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
TCD: Never give up,always belive you can,once you have fully understanded these words you are ready to make your dreams come true.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
TCD: There are n problems just yet,because I still didn’t perform.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
TCD: No tours for now.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
TCD: My inspiration usually comes from the songs I like,usually I just try to make a song and untill I succed.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
TCD: I currently don’t have any websites but I use Toneden,Soundcloud,Facebook and Twitter to share my music.
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
TCD: Drew Helcomb & The Neighbors-What would I do without you.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
TCD: Well I would probably buy equipment and make music and organise parties or tours,I would try to make the most of it.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
TCD: I’m planning on buying a 49 key MIDI keyboard and a controller DDJ SB2,am currently working with the regular gear for pc but some high quality speakers.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
TCD: I usually put it on toneden and post iton my facebook website,but soundcloud usually does the best.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
TCD: It would be MAKJ,because I consider him to be one of the best DJ’s.
Exposed Vocals: So, what�s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
TCD: If I told you it wouldn’t be a suprise haha.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren�t making music, what would you be doing?
TCD: I would be programming because afterall I am going to a high school for a computer tech.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
TCD: THe first album I bought was an Album fro Guns & Rosses because I use to listen to them a lot a 6 years ago.I was generally excited and couldn’t wait to play it.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
TCD: I do my best to balance high school and music but sometimes it is really difficult,because my school is really strict and hard.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
TCD:Basically new me,I will try to make the music win and make some sacrifice for the good of music production.
