The Town That Put the Pop in Music
– New York
Of course, there is no “New York music”—only musics, plural. Consider the range of songs that could reasonably be deemed the quintessential New York anthem: “No Sleep Till Brooklyn,” “Empire State of Mind.” Consider also the sheer number of genres and subgenres, musical cultures and subcultures, that were born, or at least blossomed most spectacularly, in New York. One artist that has blossomed is Daria. We’ve had the pleasure of watching her grow over the years with tons of radio plays and reviews – so we’re proud to present you with her newest release ‘Angel Wings’
Overall, this superb track showcase a very gifted pop singer that the ambition to stretch the musical boundaries of even a 30 second preview! This is a very good song in the Daria style that shows her as both an excellent singer and songwriter. As she evolves as an artist, she will develop a unique style of her own but this is a highly promising start to her musical journey.
