Chef Sean is a songwriter, producer and vocalist, and the Rive Video Promotion campaign for “Color Money” lists four albums written, produced and fronted: Loud Pack, Streets Pay Me (Universal/Bungalow/Star City), Been Famous Project and Bustdown Buicks & Bottles. Sean also wrote and performed the title track for the film Teeth and Blood.
An actor first
The screen came early. At 12, Sean made a feature debut as the young Jason in Jason’s Lyric, alongside Allen Payne, Forest Whitaker and Jada Pinkett Smith, with later credits in the Harpo Productions TV movie There Are No Children Here, ABC’s Missing Persons and national ad campaigns. Sean studied acting at Second City in Chicago and is also a skilled recording engineer.
Solo and with a band
The Chicago native lives in Hollywood and, beyond the solo work, is lead rapper and vocalist for Blaze, a hard rock and hip-hop band from Southern California.
