Billboard charting DJ and artist Kidd Star has dropped his 3rd single “Whiskey & Pantyhose” from project ‘The Weekend Warriors’, his second solo album on his own label, Live Wire Empire.
Billboard Artist Kidd Star hails from the East Coast Hollywood : Atlanta, GA. Known Internationally as a turntablist DJ & cross genre Producer, Kidd Star has DJ’d for A-list Celebrities & Personalities along with world renowned DJs such as, DJ Mix Master Mike, DJ Muggs, Eddie Money, Drivin’ & Cryin’, Dallas Austin, Jazze Pha, The Ying Yang Twins, Playboy Playmate Amy Leigh Andrews & DJ Keri, DJ VH1 (Lady Gaga’s DJ), John Sally, Kareem Abdul-Jabar, Ray Lewis, Denzel Washington, Meg Ryan, John Cougar Mellencamp & Ted Turner.
In 2011, he released his first solo album, Kidd Star & The E-Hop Brigade which provided the southern booty anthem “Miss My Baby” which generated over 100,000 plays on Soundcloud & over 1 million views on Blastro.com. In addition, the second single released “Rah! (It’s Gametime)” went to #4 on Billboards CD Single Charts above International artists Pitbull & Flo Rida. “Rah!” was also picked up by the Denver Broncos as their team intro song for the 2013 & 2014 season, along with sports teams such as the Portland Trailblazers, Orlando Solar Bears & Binghamton University all using it in their stadiums as their team song. Due to “Rah!’s” popularity within sports DJ Kidd Star was asked 2 years in a row to perform at the NCAA Final Four Tournament & Masters Tournament. “Rah! It’s Gametime” success continued with it being picked up in the movie, ‘Coming & Going’. Just this past Fall, EDM Giant Klaas from Germany remixed “Rah! It’s Gametime” and it has been played by numerous EDM Artists in the Festival circuit.

With the release of “The Weekend Warriors”, Kidd Star has delivered a combination of Underground & Pop music to once again top the charts worldwide, starting off with the lead single, “Lonely”, which hit #3 on Billboards Hot Single Charts. “Escondido”, the second single, hit Puerto Rico’s airwaves on WTOK-FM for over 8 weeks and was ranked above Justin Bieber, DJ Snake & Diplo for consecutive weeks!
