2Flame Blaze – Intro Pt 2

0

2Flame Blaze brings the fire and the passion on the intensely personal vision of “Intro Pt 2”. Here he proves himself to be a deft storyteller with lyricism that has an intimacy, even a vulnerability in the way they reflect upon his rise up. By far the highlight comes from this careful word selection and vivid imagery that enters into the fray, unfurling with such grace. The production does particular justice to his impeccable flow, for he rides the beat with such ease. Virtually sparkling, the lushness of the samples adds to its inherent beauty, making sure it all comes together in a way that gives it an instant classic quality to it. Nods to old-school hip-hop, of the Biggie Smalls variety, further lends it an air of confidence, one that points to the infinitely fertile rap scene of Upstate New York.

The track bursts at the seams from the very first moment. He wastes no time in getting it started, for the density of the sound is bewildering to behold. Sampling here further adds to its spacious, communal presence, which serves as a neat counterpoint to his own narrative. Within it the multiple layers of sound intermingle but never feels too saturated, always retaining a certain degree of lightness with the touch. For the final stretch he lets it all fade out in a way that further adds to the elegance of the work.

“Intro Pt 2” shows off the deft skill of 2Flame Blaze on the mike.”
