EV: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I'm still growing up but it started in Birmingham UK at a time when artist had an e on the end. Otherwise you were a painter. Pedantic? Moi?
EV: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Be bold; believe in yourselves.
EV: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Blame it on the drummer.
EV: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
A recording project so far. Apparently our video went down well on the Wonderstuff tour bus. Well, Miles & Erica did play on it.
EV: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Worked in a great studio near Moreton On The Marsh, Bank Cottage Studio.
EV: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
We got involved with a brewery – Froth Blowers Brewery – who produced ales named after the tracks – El Original Brew & The Kentish Town Song. Now we have a cheese maker who is going to produce El Original Cheese. They both work good together.
EV: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
No not Dead or Alive. He's dead anyway.
EV: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
My son Will Hunt, singer and songwriter of The Kentish Town Song is currently recording an EP at Bank Cottage Studio.
EV: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Making money or making my way to the pub.
EV: What should fans look forward to in the next year or so?
Good beer & good cheese.
EV: Any Shout-outs?
The Sundae Club (Dr C. D. Mille & Hamstall Ridware); Nick Pentelow (ex-Wizzard sax man); Miles & Erica (Wonderstuff); Skins Blithbury (drums); Hugh McDowell (ex-ELO/ex-Wizzard & cello/wine consultant).
