Sarah Louise Turns Heartbreak Into Renewal on “Sit With the Feeling”
British singer-songwriter Sarah Louise has released “Sit With the Feeling”, a single her team describes as the start of a new chapter: a dreamy, atmospheric pop sound built around emotional honesty and self-discovery, shaped by heartbreak and renewal. Exposed Vocals spoke with her earlier this year in an interview about “Different Kind of Girl”.
At the centre of the song is her recurring image of heart-shaped pebbles, a reminder, in the words of the release, that life’s storms don’t break us; they shape us. The song asks listeners to sit with their feelings rather than escape or suppress them.
What comes next
“Sit With the Feeling” is taken from her upcoming EP Person I Needed, produced by Neal Handforth and due on 27 November. According to her team, Sarah has had multiple UK and European iTunes No.1 singles, her song “Sunflower” has passed 22 million Instagram views, and she has performed at Nashville’s Bluebird Café as well as festivals, theatres and venues across the UK.
