PHAFNER – Overdrive 1971 US Mega Rare `Hard Rock Holy Grail` Dragon Records $5000+

One of the most collectible and expensive albums around today this was recorded in a basement in Iowa in 1971 by the band called `Phafner`. The band comprised of farm boys from Marshalltown, Iowa and consisted of two sets of brothers. The band recorded the songs in a local basement and pressed up only 50 copies on Dragon Records. The bands record was discovered many years later and reissued and thus the legend started. Popsike shows only two copies ever sold: one for £2583 & another for £3656.
