Next up on Romanian label Amphia, an exquisite and unique sounding two track EP from none other than our very own Petre Inspirescu. A side features the broken, old school beat and mangled baseline of “La Doi Pasi”. The B side is cut in the wave shape of “Basso Ostinato”, a truly hypnotic 4/4 piece driven by a powerful minimalistic rhythm and deep, smooth bass , sprinkled with elements of well orchestrated acoustic instruments. The two tracks are definitely very different from one another, but that just goes to show how versatile Petre Inspirescu can really be while still retaining his well known style.
