New on EV: The Curl Tapes, ‘Birds on Her Back’

Say hello to The Curl Tapes, a project rooted in Maine, where songwriter Blake Zuniga wrote most of the catalog and records it to cassette. That hands-on, tape-based approach is the starting point for getting to know the project.

The track arriving on Exposed Vocals is Birds on Her Back, now available on Spotify. Those behind it describe it as a quiet indie track, and they’ve asked for one song and one listen, which makes it an easy place to begin.

If you want to dig further into The Curl Tapes’ catalog, more can be found at thecurltapes.com. For now, Birds on Her Back is the introduction.
