Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
DJ ApoCALYpse: I grew up in Maryland, where i was a loving child with my mom and dad. I decided to become an artist when i started listening to EDM music.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
DJ ApoCALYpse: My friend at school came up with it, my inspiration was that EDM music has to many feels!
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
DJ ApoCALYpse: Yes, i use SoundCloud to upload my music, and made it possible for people to download it, because i like to express myself in making music.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
DJ ApoCALYpse: To do good on your studies at school, and to keep making music!
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
DJ ApoCALYpse: I’ve never performed live, so i wouldn’t know.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
DJ ApoCALYpse: Ah, well, i don’t write my music, i just produce it.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
DJ ApoCALYpse: No, i do not have a band website, SoundCloud is my main gig!
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your electronic device?
DJ ApoCALYpse: N/A, all of the songs on my iPod i really like!
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
DJ ApoCALYpse: I would buy myself a DJ Machine and/or a Music Software so i could produce more music, using different effects.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
DJ ApoCALYpse: Nope, i’m not onto that point yet lol
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
DJ ApoCALYpse: I put it on SoundCloud, and sometimes upload on YouTube, but rarely.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
DJ ApoCALYpse: The DJ/Producer i mostly inspire to is Audien, and it would be cool if we both performed in Baltimore or Washington DC.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
DJ ApoCALYpse: Nothing much, just producing more music i guess
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
DJ ApoCALYpse: I would be playing video games or watching NetFlix.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
DJ ApoCALYpse: Actually, my Dad bought me some rap albums like Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter III”. The albums he bought for me were clean versions because i was young back then.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
DJ ApoCALYpse: Don’t understand what you mean on that one.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2015?
DJ ApoCALYpse: More music by Audien, or myself producing music!
