Madjul – Madjul [Mini-Album – 2002]
Madjul are an Alternative Nu-Metal and Post-Hardcore band that formed in Asbury Park, New Jersey in 1997. Their old website describes them like this “To effectively explain Madjul, one needs to start at the end. It is there that you find music fueled by intense feeling, heavy sound, and complex simplicity. A group of musicians brought together by chance who have found a bond among the broken boundaries of their music. In breaking those boundaries, they have mixed something young and fresh with a classically dark and heavy style. And with the final product defined, we find ourselves at the beginning.”
Madjul was released in 2002 and is the band’s third or fourth of 7 known releases. This Mini-Album is the band’s first known release to have second guitarist Bob Scatigna to contribute to it as the 1999 demo and the first Madjul EP from 2001 don’t have his contributions (though the 2001 release credits him anyways).
