Born 1998, from a four-track recorder in a basement, Madcat.
Blessed with a collection of musical styles and talents, Madcat fused these to create a blend of music that cannot be categorized. No person, regardless of musical tastes, will walk away from a live show disappointed. From the creative drum work, to the house/trance/jungle beats, the the hard-core grooves, to the tuneful melodies and back again, Madcat customizes their show to their audience vibe.
With over 70 years of combined experience, a dynamic stage appearance, and an energetic stage show, Madcat always leaves you wanting more. Having played over 200 live shows from Cincinnati’s premier venues to Chicago’s suburban scene, Detroit, Nashville, and an up and coming promotional gig assembled by AMS personnel and music’s top producers.
All with unique backgrounds and beliefs, the one thing that they can all agree on is music. Music is the driving force that keeps them together exploring different genres and tastes. By extensive amounts of improvisational practices and shows they are constantly developing new sounds. With this experience Madcat will surely make music their life, hobby, and work.
