LIFE Sailing in the sunshine SWEDEN PROG 1972 / 2011 GOLDEN PAVILION
LIFE- Review adapted from Greger Rönnqvist
The group Life existed between 1970-72 and contained three guys who at that time were about 20 years old. Those three were the guitarist and piano player Anders Nordh (Trolls, King George Discovery, Blond) the bassist Paul Sundlin (Trolls, King George Discovery) and the drummer Thomas Rydberg (Rowing Gamblers). Life played heavy progressive rock and was one of the heaviest rock groups in Sweden at that time. This album was recorded by EMI 1970 with Swedish lyrics, and the year after it was released in a version with English lyrics. Now in 2011 Golden Pavilion reissues for the first time on vinyl the rare English version . This is a fantastic album and when it was first released, many newspapers called it “one of the best ever done in Sweden”. We hope you enjoy it. Get your copy at www.golden-pavilion.com
