Jadon-Li Faces His Ghosts on “Let It Go” — A Raw Prelude to Ghost Town

Atlanta-based Pop/R&B artist Jadon-Li returns this November 20 with his most emotionally charged release yet — “Let It Go”, the lead single from his upcoming album Ghost Town. A collaboration with MTM Standard, Georgia State University’s student-run record label, the track dives deep into the aftermath of heartbreak — the kind that doesn’t just break you, but wakes you up.

“This song came out of the breaking point — the release,” Jadon-Li tells us. “It’s me finally accepting that I can’t change them, and that letting go was the only way to find peace.”

Let It Go: Where Pain Meets Clarity

Moody, melodic, and arrestingly honest, “Let It Go” fuses R&B smoothness with Pop’s emotional immediacy. But don’t expect a typical breakup anthem — this one hits differently. The single encapsulates a reckoning with family wounds, internalized guilt, and the radical decision to choose peace over pain.

“Freedom, for me, isn’t just leaving a toxic place but letting go of the guilt that comes with it,” Jadon-Li says. “Now, freedom means being able to exist as myself without needing permission or validation from the people who hurt me.”
