Hot new interview with C. Brewer
Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
C. Brewer: I was looking around online and stumbled upon the site. I thought it was pretty cool, I’m always looking for new ways to push the music and get it out there for people to enjoy.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
C. Brewer: I was born in Wichita Falls, Tx. I didn’t have that wonderful story book home life so I found that attention and family aspect in other ways. I spent my childhood and beginning of my teenage years running the streets, hustling, and gang banging. Anything that had a $ sign attached to it had my attention. I think that’s where my dedication and desire to succeed in everything I do comes from. Nothing is handed to you, you gotta get out there and make it happen. After getting into some trouble during my freshman year in high school I moved to Lawton, Oklahoma. I was there for a couple of years and decided I needed a change. I moved to Tucson, Arizona and attempted to start over. I meet some different people there and began to focus on music. I always had an interest in music, it was my escape from reality, way to clear my head, and even a way to get my inner most thoughts off my chest. I opened up my first concert during that time. That lasted about a year or so then I found myself back in Lawton. That was about the time I met some more artist that were really into music. We end recording and did a few projects together. I graduated school and had my first child. But once again I was restless and found myself on the move, this time back to Texas. Still my passion for music came with me. Despite all I’ve been thru I wouldn’t change anything. It gave me the drive to become the man I am today. My past gives me the motivation stay on top and succeed in everything that I do. I will not take no for an answer I will achieve all of my goals. We put together a group of motivated artist. Now we have our own studio, label, artist, producers, everything we need to run our company. However we are always looking for new talent and opportunities to network. Any and everything we can do to get our people and our company to the top.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
C. Brewer: Its my name, its me plain and simple. I don’t need some over rated catchy gimmick to sell myself to people, the music does that. Great music will always sell its self you just gotta be motivated enough to get it out there.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
C. Brewer: I think music sharing is great. It helps to push the music forward. No one is gonna go buy a cd of an artist that they never heard of. It helps fans to follow along with your music, get to your style, vibe with you, and share it with their friends.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Hell stand in a parking lot in 110 degree weather handing out free mixed tapes if that’s what its gonna take to get the music heard. Don’t be scared to ask for help from more established well rounded artist. Whatever you gotta do just don’t give up
