What PLAYBACK is

PLAYBACK is a community listening event where unreleased tracks are played in the room and discussed by hosts, industry guests and other creators. The focus is constructive feedback and networking rather than competition.

H.O.M.E. says pop is interpreted broadly, so pop-leaning indie, hip-hop, R&B and songwriter submissions are welcome.

How to participate

  • RSVP through the official form
  • Optionally submit an unreleased track for consideration
  • Arrive for networking before the listening session
  • Submitting does not guarantee your song will be played
  • Attendance is limited by venue capacity
EV take: this is useful even if your song is not selected. The room itself is the opportunity — creators, tastemakers and industry people are gathering specifically to hear unreleased work and talk about it.
