Gary has constantly been writing, melding various influences to support his addiction to melody and groove. During the recording of “sans divine” HC came upon the anniversary of the horror that was September 11, on this day “Breathe” was recorded and instead of hatred and revenge came sympathy and sorrow with the line “I can not comprehend what you’re going through right now”. “It was an emotional time for all of us the night when Mark laid down the vocals for that song, I remember thinking that no matter who you were or where you were living on that day, your life changed and maybe it wasn’t for the better.”
