Harry Kappen’s After the Crossing was announced for March 3, 2026 on MTS Records. The ten-track project was described as his first album since relocating from Europe to Mexico. Kappen wrote, performed and produced the work, with musical advice from Jeroen Goeijers and Koop Hofman and additional vocals by Danna Gomez on Good Samaritans. Lead single Balance addresses division and the possibility of dialogue between opposing views. The supplied track list also includes No Delays, Distant Shore, Arms Wide Open and While Life Keeps Rushing By. Migration gives the campaign its geographical frame, while empathy, uncertainty and the search for common ground provide its stated emotional concerns.
Harry Kappen is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and music therapist born in Groningen, the Netherlands. His background includes European rock bands, music for Dutch radio and television, and more than two decades of work in youth care. He also lectured in an international master’s program. After relocating to Mexico City, he continued music therapy on a smaller scale alongside recording. His 2026 album After the Crossing reflects that move and his interest in empathy and human connection.
