Foy Vance covers the Prince classic, “Purple Rain” live in Greenpoint, Brooklyn recording studio The End. Buzzsessions are live music videos produced by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we capture our favorite bands recording alternate studio quality versions of their songs.

Simple and classic is a formula that just works, and when we brought Northern Irish singer-songwriter Foy Vance into The End Studios in Brooklyn to record, he more than delivered. In honor of the recently deceased legend, Vance performed a heartfelt acoustic rendition of the Prince classic “Purple Rain,” along with his gorgeous original “She Burns.” Do not let the killer mustache distract you, this guy is all about the music.
