FortyFour – Tracy Lords
A long hard road tried 44 since 1995… they’ve been through a bassist, guitarist and drummer since then… Original members Matthew Harris (vocals) andJosh Pipes (guitars) had to pick up the peices to make a full lineup once again… in ’97 they picked up bassist Glenn Sprott and got themselves back up to playing shows and recording again… in the summer of ’98 they released guitarist Joe Loverti because of some musical differences… For awhile they just went on as a “one guitar” band… in early fall of 1998, drummer Dan Grim decided to part with 44 on the eve of the “Blood Bitters” cd release… on November 2nd, drummer Stu-B (formerly of Euck) and guitarist Matt Ulrich (Formerly of SlugBarrel) tried out for 44… here they are over a year later, now a well oiled machine, playing lots of shows, and in the recording studio (hidden music) recording their second self-released album… the album is slated for release in early spring 2000… 44 hopes to be starting an east coast tour in the summer of 2000…
