Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

I grew up in New York City. I wanted to be a music artist after listening to other singers, watching music videos, composing. Being an artist I feel is just part of my being. I love to create.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Thank you for asking me to ask advice. With getting gigs, if you dont have a manager, I say. Look up local clubs , venues , performance spots on line. Call or go to the place, ask about bookings. It is surprising what asking can do. With airplay, I say start putting your music on reverb, soundcloud, bandcamp. Once out, start working on your cd. * You start to get recognized and will determination. Will get airplay.

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

Yes! I do. It was funny, another artist was saying to me, since I had said “ at first I was scared to sing, I wasnt ready!” I was told”You, scared. Hard to believe that!” It was exactly because I was afraid of making mistakes. Then I realized I all do. With performances , I handle making a mistake with going with the flow. Impromptu. I will work around my miatakes. Sometimes I juat laugh, cause I cant believe it. Actually, it really is in the understanding we are human and trying our best.

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

I havent toured yet. I have been staying local New York City area. Although when I do , I will tell you:)

Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?

I am always upgrading. I was planning for a new keyboard and better sound equipement for recording in my own studio . At the present time I am working on my latest cd “Secrets” It is getting there. I have more tracks to go . I have a few songs out for promo before cd premiere as well as videos. It takes a lot of work and dedication. I al also re editing some tracks. I hear it once, like it.go back, hear again. Not like it ! Needs more. It is a very intense process but I love it.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

I find promoting on line Reverb, soundcloud, instagram, fb and websites work best for me. 🙂 Yet once a few albums out , you start getting promoted naturally just by your work being out there.

Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?

I would love to perform with the lead singer of the band H.I.M. “Ville Vallo” that would be my dream. I love his voice and music since forever. Where would I like to perform?. Hmm. I mean I would say Europe. Maybe France or Norway. That would be exciting.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

My new upcoming cd “Secrets” It is a very intense music cd .The songs, at least to me capture alot of emotions. Feelings. It is pop electronica dance music. A few songs do have a darker solo edge . I found it a very intense journey making this cd because I almost did not. I was expecting to work with a few other artists on it. It did not happen. I was crushed.I was really hurt. I even stopped listening to music for a week. For me that is rare. Then I though. No , this cant happen. I must. If I love music and creating as I do. I must. So I went back in the studio and started creating. So this cd means alot in everyway possible. See as artists, we got to remember, if we give up, they won! Negative. Anything or anyone who stops what you love to do. Is negative. You got to go back to your roots and hold on to the creativity in you and express it.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

I would be acting. I am also an actress. If I wasnt making music, I would be acting. Actually.I am a busy bee. I am always doing something .:) I am blessed to be doing music. Thank you.

My new album “Secrets” hot music videos and live performances!
