YG ProB

Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

YG ProB: I was borned and raised in ft. Lauderdale florida (mainly the sunrise Lauderhill area). music came naturally for me after being introduced to hiphop in 1995. I began writing poetry and short stories at the age of “7”. And you know they say poetry is the cousin of rap, so there you have it.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

YG ProB: well “YG ProB” is short for “Yung ProB”! I came up with the name from my childhood. I was always getting into trouble or causing problems so henceforth the nickname “problem” that became shortened to “prob” then yung added because im a young individual. ” “Prob” had it’s own distinct meaning in itself…Poetic-Remedies-Of-Brain

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

YG ProB: trust in the process of artistry and most importantly business! having the talent is only 1/3 the layout. you must first and foremost learn the business behind the art.

YG ProB: very rarely I make mistakes in a performance such as skipping over or miss a line from a verse, due to high intensity and energy.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

YG ProB: songwriting for me is a special process. when I write there is no set subject or guideline, I simply engulf my artistry into a realm of creativity that in time is the result of “ART”! which is more or less a feeling than a thought or idea stimulated by past life experiences.
