Matt: I grew up in bartlesville, Oklahoma. I decided about 8th grade I wanted to pursue creating music, I just had a passion for it and loved singing and creating things more than anything else. Its always fun and never gets old.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

Matt: I just decided to stick with my actual name. I didnt feel the need to create a persona

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Matt: I think it can be very beneficial for sure, i give all my music away for free I haven’t created any original songs yet Ive only been working on covers so I see no need to charge people.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Matt: Im honestly just starting out so I dont really have any advice that would be to helpful.

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

Matt: Oh yeah always, nobody is perfect. The way Ive dealt with mistakes performing live in the past was to just power through it and hope for a good response from the crowd.

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

Matt: I haven’t gone on tour yet, but i was just recently asked to go on tour so Im looking forward to what the future holds.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

Matt: Im working on some stuff right now and usually it just comes from my brain and my producers we just chill out and brainstorm.

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Matt: I currently do not but I do use sound cloud!
