Dfaced – Hidden

Dfaced were Metal band from Oceanside, New York.
Their original run took place in 2000, although 2004 is said that today’s youth is lost, yet as
soon as you hear and see DFACED, one would think otherwise.

Dfaced first started in the spring of 2002 in the basement of guitarist Mike Staiano.The four of
them were all friends and decided to do what the majority of students, and it was to start a rock ‘n’ roll.
Mike Staiano (guitar), Dave Cardona (bassist), Joe Mastrantuono (drummer), and Christian Misirlian
(vocalist), it was a special talent and passion for music.

Christian, who was 14 at the time, was looking to gather a group that had all the elements of his
heavy impacts, and mix it with the melodic guitar style that is in modern music. Sharp, crisp bass
lines combined with fast upbeat drums to hold the sound together. He got together with his friend
Mike and the sale of its ability to write catchy riffs on the spot, and realizing his style was unique,
they immediately come together to pursue their dreams. Mike knew where to find the perfect drummer.
He invited an old friend of his band, Joe, to join the rehearsal and that same day they knew the search
was over. Joe officially joined the group after realizing that they all share the same dreams and talents.
All three played together in the garage of Mike as often as they could, sometimes 6 hours a day,
7 days a week, which makes the guitar riffs, drum beats and lyrics that were so unique, they knew
they had the opportunity to make their mark in the music business. Within one month of their
quest bassist went in vain.
