Busta Rhymes Countersues Former Assistant Over ‘False’ Assault Allegations

Hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes is firing back in court, filing a defamation lawsuit against his former assistant Dashiel Gables, who earlier this year accused the rapper of physical assault and workplace abuse.

In a lawsuit filed this summer, Gables alleged that Rhymes punched him during a heated exchange in a Brooklyn condo lobby — reportedly triggered when Gables tried to respond to a message from his daughter.
