Boys Noize’s 7LLVSION: A Solo Frame After a Collaborative Run

Boys Noize has announced 7LLVSION for November 6, 2026 via ONES and ZEROS. The September 24 announcement arrived with “1+1+1,” a collaboration with Dutch artist and multi-instrumentalist ZEP. With the album still ahead, the campaign’s most useful question is how Alex Ridha returns to a record bearing his own name after a period shaped by large collaborative projects.

A solo record with a collective cast

Gold Atlas describes 7LLVSION as his first solo album in five years and lists collaborators including Brutalismus 3000, ZEP, Taichu, Maya Alkhatari and ABRA. That combination makes “solo” a statement about authorship and curatorial direction, rather than an absence of other voices. The guest list places the release within the network Ridha has built through production, performance and his labels.

The opening single gives that idea a specific focal point. ZEP comes from Rotterdam’s underground scene, where his independently organized FUGAZZI parties preceded work spanning drums, DJing, production and songwriting. The supplied campaign describes “1+1+1” through EBM bass movement, a new-wave backbeat and a shift between mosh-pit and dancefloor energy. Those descriptions belong to the release materials; they establish the intended collision without substituting a listening verdict.

Returning from another scale

Ridha’s surrounding work provides the backdrop. The pitch points to performances alongside Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross on Nine Inch Nails’ Peel It Back tour, co-production on the TRON: Ares soundtrack and the Nine Inch Noize project. The new Boys Noize album brings the focus back to a personal project after those larger shared settings.

His biography makes clear that crossing between formats is longstanding. Boys Noize encompasses DJ sets, studio production, remixing and film composition. Octave Minds with Chilly Gonzales and Dog Blood with Skrillex sit alongside his solo catalog. Rather than treating those projects as interchangeable, 7LLVSION offers a chance to examine what Ridha selects when the final frame is his own.

The label as part of the story

ONES and ZEROS is also more than a line in the release details. The campaign identifies it alongside Boysnoize Records as a platform for emerging talent. Releasing the album there connects an established artist’s new work to his activity as an independent label builder. That is a concrete link between a personal record and the infrastructure that supports other artists.

As of this feature, November 6 remains the announced album date. “1+1+1” is available through the official single link, while the album link leads to the campaign’s pre-save. The September pitch also lists forthcoming October takeover dates in Paris, Barcelona and Amsterdam. The solo record, guest voices and label context give this next phase its shape; a future artist conversation could explore those choices in his own words.
