Found in the Inbox: BRIELLE Opens the Debut Album With “Ought To Be
In this story
“This is a special time in my life as I am finally able to release to the world what I have been working on for so long,” BRIELLE said as the self-titled debut album arrived on June 17, 2016. “The time has come for everyone to see the different sides of me and my journey. Simply put, I am just excited!”
Ten songs
The Rive Video Promotion campaign introduced “Ought To Be” as the official debut single from BRIELLE, a 10-song album distributed by AGP Records, alongside “Love Means,” “Wasted,” “Unstoppable,” “Rock The Catwalk,” “Catch A Star For You” and “Rocket.”
Already charting
The singles had a head start. “Rocket” debuted at No. 15 on Billboard’s Hot Singles Sales chart and peaked at No. 8, and “Avalanche” reached No. 4 with eight straight weeks in the Top 10. The “Catch A Star For You” video, directed by Annette Navarro, passed half a million YouTube views and spent 26 weeks on video charts including MTV, VH-1 and Much Music.
Anthems and runways
The campaign also noted the national anthem at Citi Field for the New York Mets and at Madison Square Garden for the 2015 NIT championship on ESPN, studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and a background as a violinist and dancer. Exposed Vocals later sat down with BRIELLE for an exclusive interview.
