Australian metal titans Parkway Drive have unveiled plans for one of the most ambitious performances of their career—an exclusive, one-night-only concert at the Sydney Opera House. Slated for June 9, 2025, this event will see the band perform alongside a full symphonic orchestra and choir, delivering a grand fusion of heavy metal and classical music in a setting unlike any other.
Adding to the uniqueness of the occasion, Parkway Drive has introduced a black-tie dress code, inviting fans to trade their usual band tees and mosh pit gear for elegant formalwear. The unprecedented mix of heavy riffs and orchestral arrangements promises a night of high drama, emotional intensity, and musical transcendence.
An Unforgettable Collaboration
This performance will mark a significant moment in Parkway Drive’s evolution, as they continue to push the boundaries of their genre. Known for their explosive live shows and deeply personal lyricism, the Byron Bay-based band will be reimagining their catalog with full orchestral accompaniment, offering fans a fresh and dynamic take on their anthems.
The concert will also be recorded for Parkway Drive’s upcoming live album and feature film, titled HOME, capturing the grandeur of the night for fans worldwide.
