Califani has released “Eat the Cake, Anime,” arriving on 22 October 2026 as the next chapter after her Exposed Vocals interview about building a West Coast rap identity.

The Australian artist, also known as Stefani Samac, describes the record as a combination of West Coast bounce, an old-school hip-hop feel and playful delivery using three accents and personalities. It is the club record she had been developing when she first spoke to EV about her writing and performance process.

A released song, with the video still ahead

The single is available now. Its music video has not yet been filmed: Califani says the shoot is planned for 31 October at HALLOWSTREAM, where she will also host and perform. Mambo Mafia is expected to join her on camera.

For the visual direction, she points to Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Tupac’s appearance in Juice. The shoot will develop that visual direction after the song’s release.

Building on the same artist story

Her earlier interview explored the relationship between acting instincts, delivery and the California influences she brings to her music. This release gives that conversation a finished track to connect with, while the Halloween shoot adds the next stage of the project.

Califani has also confirmed a forthcoming collaboration with Kevin McCall. She has not supplied a release date for that next single.
