2025 Billboard Country Power Players Awards: Photos From the Event
The latest Billboard Country Power Players Awards served up a whole lot of honky-tonk goodness last Wednesday, over at the swanky Category 10 hotspot in downtown Nashville. Hosted by the fabulous Reyna Roberts, the night kicked off in style with a fiery performance by Latin sensation Carín León.
The festivities were in full swing as the awards started flowing. The legendary Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn handed over the coveted groundbreaker award to the talented Riley Green, while Shaboozey handed out the innovative vibes to BigXthaPlug. Rising star Ella Langley rightfully claimed her spot in the limelight, bagging the rising star award presented by the incomparable Lainey Wilson.
The night took a heartfelt turn as Liz Rose of the Songwriters Hall of Fame showered Little Big Town with the prestigious Ben Vaughn song champion award, named in memory of the late Warner Chappell Nashville leader. The touching moment was made even more special by Little Big Town’s soul-stirring rendition of “Rich Man” as a tribute to Vaughn.
A surprise appearance by the one and only Garth Brooks lit up the stage as he paid tribute to the phenomenal Stacy Vee, crowned executive of the year for her exceptional work in bringing the Stagecoach Country Music Festival to life in sunny Indio, California. The legendary Jim Asker, the maestro behind the Billboard country charts, was also recognized for his outstanding contribution to the industry. However, a twist in the tale as Asker announced his pending departure later this year due to health concerns. The talented Lauren Daigle stepped up to honor him with a special farewell Billboard cover.
The power-packed night continued as Brothers Osborne toasted Tatum Allsep, the visionary founder of Music Health Alliance, with the impactful impact award. Over the past 12 years, Music Health Alliance has been a beacon of hope for countless music industry folks, especially the indie contractors, navigating the complex terrain of healthcare and insurance issues.
The glitz, the glam, the heartfelt moments, it was all captured in the snapshots from the Billboard Country Power Players party. It was a night to remember, celebrating the movers and shakers of the country music world, each leaving their mark in their unique way.
