Prattle on, rick. “My Holiday” // Take Away

An aura of collective experience is what I felt recording Prattle on, Rick. The arrangements were put together beautifully, both elegantly simple and intricate at the same time. All members ran through the compositions with confidence only a group of professionals can posses.

Patrick Rickelton’s songs convey a message of longing for a simpler time, seeking a release from pressure, stress and urban decay. Something that can really hit home for most of us. The setting, David Lipscomb’s historic home right near the campus, blended well with the sound.
