Midnight Sky — Straight At the Sun: Found in the Inbox

Found in the Inbox · From the MTS release archive

Midnight Sky’s Straight At the Sun was announced for February 20, 2026 via MTS Records. Written by project leader Tim Tye, it comes from the thirteen-song album Just Before Dawn. The supplied campaign describes an Americana and country-rock setting, with female lead vocals and a lyric concerned with courage, deception and difficult truths. The sun functions as a metaphor for clarity that may be uncomfortable to face. Rather than presenting resilience as the absence of risk, the song’s premise considers the cost of confronting what has been concealed. The materials identify it as track nine and place it beside earlier album singles Hearts Are Wild and A Few Good Years (Remix).
