In an announcement sent to Exposed Vocals on March 16, 2026, MTS Management Group presented Eddy Mann’s When I Was Saved. Inspired by Luke 23:26–43, the song reflects on the crucifixion and Christian redemption. Liz Collins supplies supporting vocals, and the submitted description places pop, rock, country and folk elements around Mann’s storytelling.
Mann wrote the song in December 2024, according to the campaign. The accompanying video develops themes of sacrifice, mercy and hope. This March announcement associated the song with Dreaming with God and a summer 2026 album plan; an October submission later described the album as expected in September 2027.
The campaign announced March 20, 2026 as the release date.
