Name is Derrick Davis aka #astroMUZIK, born In Columbia SC… I’m a music producer/beat maker/drummer!… Been in the business of music going on 12 years… Seriously going on about 2 years! Started out drumming/other instruments… Which then took off to music production and beat making!

My biggest inspiration is God and the giving of my gifts and the ability to work them fully! That alone is enough! I’ve had family members who’ve inspired me, along with my peers… Some of my favorites throughout the industry would have to be Timbaland, Pharrell, Rodney Jerkins (DarkChild)…

My greatest achievement thus far is being the featured dropped single (LIL SHAWTY) of a mixtape from “Shey Black” that should be dropping this month. That extra big for me, and the timing was EVERYTHING!!

Patience, continue to work with your head down and don’t look up wondering where you are. Just work! Money will come but shouldn’t be the biggest priority! Remember to remain yourself, remain unique and stay true to who you are!!
