So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
LUIZA:
I grew up in Europe. I came to the USA in 1995. I received a diploma from music school in Poland. My father is a musician, my mother is an artist also, but in a related field of visual art, sculptures, and paintings. I love any kind of art.
I’ve always wanted to write since I was a child. I was writing music, lyrics, and also books and screenplays.
I enjoy writing songs very much.

How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
LUIZA:
Luiza is actually my middle name. I got called Luiza a lot as well when I was a young girl.
Exposed Vocals:
What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
LUIZA:
I think online music sharing is a good way to share your passion with others. I do sometimes give music away when asked to write a song though.
Exposed Vocals:
Since everyone was a startup once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
LUIZA:
Believe in yourself and sometimes it’s worth it to take good advice from someone who has been in your shoes. For me it is just the beginning of my career.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances?
How do you handle that?
LUIZA:
Since I am mostly a song writer right now, I do not perform. Very often people are asking me if I’m going to sing my own songs. That….I don’t know yet 🙂 Right now I am enjoying working with other artists, and creating great projects.

Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
LUIZA:
Right now, I don’t tour.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
LUIZA:
The inspiration just comes to me. Sometimes I am looking by the window, and I feel I have to go and write down what comes to my mind.

Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
LUIZA:

What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
LUIZA:
My 13 year old daughter (by the way I have 2 kids, my son is 18) downloaded the song Sweatshirt by Jacob Sartorious as a joke, as if I was a fan. But it’s OK. She’s a joy!

If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
LUIZA:
Oh….I would create all my projects I have always dreamed of, and I have many of them I would put some aside for me and my kids, and I would help others make theirs dreams come true. I love to see people happy

Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
LUIZA:
Nothing new for now.
Exposed Vocals:
How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
LUIZA:
I have my twitter and facebook page, I talk to people, and I always take a helping hand to get me out there.

If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
LUIZA:
Hmm….it would be Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande, also Celine Dion. Those artists have an amazing vocal range. My daughter loves Ariana, for the same reasons.

So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
LUIZA:
Yes, next month the professional video for DANCE is coming out, and by the end of this month the demo of my next song THE MOON WANTS TO SLEEP is coming out too.

If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
LUIZA:
I would probably be traveling.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
LUIZA:
Celine Dion. I fell in love in her voice 🙂

How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
LUIZA:
You need balance in everything you do in life, even your biggest passion.

LUIZA:
