Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

 

XDUB: I grew up in Acuña Coahuila, México

currently I’m living here, I have 17 years old, I am studying high school days.

the reason why I started to compose music was for one simple reason, that is what I like hacer.Pero other than that came from an inspiration I had when I was listening to my first dubstep song is called first of the year Skrillex

It was there that he began to call the attention of music production. one that even I fail enough fame and I’m not even recognized.

 

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

 

XDUB: the truth my name at the beginning was zombie clown but since I did not like because it seemed a little long, so change it to nuclearboy last one year with that name, change it in the same way as people had that nickname. so here XDUB

emerged from the combination of Xbox name and add dubstep only change some words

and I got the truth XDUB is the short version of the full name which is XDUB-STEP EDITION.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

 

XDUB: I think my music swapping online is a way to be known by more people are different countries and cities on the planet.

But also so that people realize diferents styles out there and do not get stuck with the same deejays today.

 

In fact it does not matter if my music is used by someone for their videos, really do not have seal who support it anyway if my music is free is if people want to continue listening and bring in their mp3 players and share with friends, go do so.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

XDUB: Sure you can get what they intend

It is just a matter of not giving up in any situation, insist and continue to insist until achieving your goals.

My advice is to never give up.

 

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

 

XDUB: My inspiration comes when I am relaxed almost always do beatbox.

melodies invention whenever I go on my way to school every sound for me is a sample sound of a car is a sample, all a sample, that comes the inspiration to capture what you hear and just let creativity flow chelates.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

 

XDUB: what I would do with a million dollars and a year’s vacation?

  ami would help family would spend on carrying travel wherever they wanted.

and I buy more components to create my own studio.

because even I do not have many things just my pc a stereo

and that’s what I have.

I would do many things with that money.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

 

XDUB: what works for me is to promote my music on social networks in groups of facebook and twitter and youtube. sharing with friends

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

 

XDUB: I’m working on some collaborations with other producers friends

to get my EP this 2016 which consists of 2 collabs and an original mix

but other than that it is almost everything that’ll do for now.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

 

XDUB: when I do music I do with my high school assignments because even I have to fight school, in school and beat me and after that work on the production of more music

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

 

XDUB: It is a bit difficult as long study periods and when I have almost no time to produce and when I have time almost’m not at my pc.

Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?

 

XDUB: new projects, new collaborations, songs, progress is expected in my career and look forward to your friends support.
