Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

 

WILLZ : I grew up in Park Place, Norfolk in VA. But I’m known in multiple areas. I started writing relatively young around 11 it was just an excellent from the world around me.

 

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

 

Willz: In School I use to freestyle a lot my friend started calling me ronny willz, I liked but I always though Willz sound better.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

 

Willz: Online music sharing is one of most intelligent and beneficial ideas for music marketing for the new era. Free music is cool cause it gives people a chance to hear good artist with no loss that way they the consumer can decide if your worth the pay.  I’ve had strangers tell me my music is worth $$ .

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Willz: Try to develop a relationship with online fans cause the support is realer than you think & keep it genuine. Networking is the key

 

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

 

Willz : Usually night hours listening to insane beats after hearing some of my favorite artist old & new known and unknown.  Songwriting,  I get inspired off damn near anything from a book to a scene.

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

 

Willz : forget a year off. No days off and ima call p Diddy or jay z and ask what to do with the rest lol. I don’t think they know what a day off is . Ima spend it on a profit , investing

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

 

Willz : Networking , building relationships with hardworking artist , traveling . Having real fans who help.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

 

Willz: My project Devil May Cry is Almost Done Might Drop in 2016 .. working on Visuals now!!

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

 

Willz : Idk I would be dealing or unanimously crossing up college students.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

 

Willz: bruh,  I try but the world is the undefeated champion of no order.

willz: The craziest sounds from a VA artist I don’t make similar music to anyone . I’m actually about to start releasing the rare gems now. Stay woke 2016
