Exposed Vocals Interviews Valon

 
I released an Intro Track on soundcloud and i saw the follower request on twitter and common thing to do is follow back, i was not aware that i would be given an opportunity to have an interview, so i got more than i bargained for and i am grateful.

 I grew up in Georgetown, Guyana and still reside there i was exposed to hip-hop at an early age…about 7 years old and i followed it ever since. I was into free-styling and doing remixes with my friends as a young teenager and after a life changing period around 15 to 18 years i started doing Christian Rap and Gospel centered music. I rap for the same reason I believe in,that is…to tell the world about Jesus and what he’s done for me as an individual over the years even though  its been rocky and challenging.

 My name came from a self-given name i had when i did street music and freestyles before following Christ..uh…I went by the name Valncetti and i just thought of it as a “catch” until my friends shortened it to “Valon”…So i kept the name and its been with me ever since even into my Christian Rap career.

 Yes I endorse that cause its vital in getting your music across and I also think with the type of music i do,their should be free music available cause of the message of Christ…even though Me and my producers have to continue funding the movement.

Sadly no not right now,since in my career I myself am on start-up.

 I used to,i learnt to improvise in the moment of doing stage performances since only close friend/fans and your band or back-ups would hear it cause they know your peak and weak but on a whole my stage performances are more professional cause of doing it more frequent.

 I haven’t had a tour yet but by the grace of God upon the completion of my official mixtape I will have some tours locally and probably in a few neighboring countries but from experiences from stage shows leaves me with one basic advice “Do ALOT OF PRACTICES & PRAY BEFORE PERFORMANCES”

 I usually just get songs and they flow upon listening to a track or beat and most of them are testimonials or relative to something i been through or am going through. I hardly take long to write cause it flows from my core with the believed help of the God in me.

 I use ,www.reverbnation.com/valon,valon.bandcamp.com, noisetrade and facebook.com/valon.4.christ/twitter.com/onassvalon. I haven’t really updated much of it since my project is still in progress and i want it to be released in full.

 I dont have much of those if any, I listen to Christian Artiste and it helps motivate on a daily base and helps me focus in on what i stand for, giving me some sort of edification.

 I would invest in the things of Christ and my studio A J Records. I doubt i would take a year off though since music is what helps me vent and worship God.

 We work with pro tools and reasons along with familiar brands like studio and fl studio to get the sound we want or are looking for. We are always upgrading and only recently we received a studio compressor.

 I use online sites for hosting and I get local air-plays and doing stage shows and performances really push you, i am highly voluntary

 I am currently working on my “I’m Only Human Mixtape” and its conceptually about the saying “I’m only human,so im not perfect” however yea, because we are imperfect i believe relying on God through Jesus Christ we can become much more humane by relying on the source we came from and not just being “Insane or Insanity” in our situation meaning we be accustomed to our state and expect different results but do the same thing again and again. So in this mixtape I relate to people in this state and in every song i show how God comes in to help the situation or how relying on him would be effective rather to try on your own strength and fail; “even though, I might be flawed,his work is still done in me as of his spirit”

 I am also doing mechanical engineering studies,so yes that and Church activities whatever God would want me to do.

 It was cool to get the “Forward” Album from Flame,it really inspires me and help me on a daily basis.

 its a pretty tight schedule but i keep up,even though some days I am really physically tired at work but hey its all gonna pay off!

 They should look forward to growth and more truth music! the music that helps push you and also gives you truth and groove, Christ Reigns and well Gospel can sound this nice!
