Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

Trell Sav: I grew up in a small town called Sanford. I never really had anything else to rely on except for music so I decide to record a song. My friends inspired me by telling me it was great so I decide to make it a lifestyle.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

Trell Sav: One of my friends called me that so I just stuck with it .

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Trell Sav: Yes I give my music away for free , I never thought I’d get this far so I just did it for fun .

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Trell Sav: You can’t be scared to take risks , and don’t worry about what people say negative about your music always think positive .

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

Trell Sav: I was inspired by the people around me , every chance I get I write down lyrics and put them together .

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Trell Sav: I do not have a band website at the moment but i use SoundCloud to upload my music https://soundcloud.com/lil-trell-332169652

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

Trell Sav: I would give back to my community and provide for my mom and my family . And with a year off I would work on my music and become a better artist .

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

Trell Sav : I follow new people and ask them for tips and ask them can they help me get my music out there .

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

Trell Sav: I’m working on a part two to one of my songs I recently made called ” real life story ” .

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

Trell Sav: I would be trying to get a scholarship in basketball .

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

Trell Sav: I kinda put my music last cause school comes first but every moment I get I’m working on it

Trell Sav: New music and different styles .
