Exposed Vocals Interviews Tom Anthony
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Tom Anthony: Well, I grew up in the capital of Buenos Aires ( Argentina ) . From 10 years to hear electronic music , I always inspired to make music and to this day I am an artist / producer . And my 15 years I could get my first track ( Magnetic ) .
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Tom Anthony: My full name is Tomas Antonelli , and well born there my stage name . So now everyone calls me Tom Anthony .
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Tom Anthony: I think the online music sharing should be moderate. As of today there are many violation of copyright music artists . I do not offer my music to the public because anyone can violate my rights, which for me is totally unacceptable.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Tom Anthony: I have no words , the only advice I can give is to be themselves and think things out before acting
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Tom Anthony: Honestly I do not need any inspiration when composing a track , I think a melody and the project , I feel if something is right or wrong and correct those mistakes. The main and only when composing is the Idea , is the only and fundamental.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Tom Anthony: Currently I have no website. The only platform that I use to upload my music is SoundCloud .
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Tom Anthony: Well the truth I’ve never thought of. But if I had a million dollars a year off and travel around the world, always I wanted to travel to the Netherlands to enjoy electronic music and also to Tomorrowland .
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Tom Anthony: I do not promote my music , the only thing I do is upload my music and I hope to win the applause of the people.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Tom Anthony: Yes, I am currently working on a project with my partner DJ Heer, which goes on the web at approximately the beginning of March.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Tom Anthony: If I would not live the music will probably work as a mechanic. I’m still finishing to study at a technical school. Although I love to do both , music is what inspires me to do other things , is as a source of energy for me.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Tom Anthony: Well , I still live with my family which does not give me many responsibilities outside of my musical life, but if I care about my life and my mood , that’s something I try to look strong
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
Tom Anthony: The only thing to expect is going to come , as you know, this is just the beginning .
