Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

— I grew in Fayetteville NC, I lived there basically my whole life. Since I was little i loved to rap, As i got older I started taking it more serious.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

–One day i was just thinking about what I wanted to be called if i made it to the industry. I always said to myself if i make it in the industry I wanted to be ” That Nigga”  and my nickname is Dre so i just put it together.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

— I really like the online music sharing platform because everybody isn’t rich for studio time or paying to get their music out to the world so that helps a lot of people. Yes for right now because i haven’t made it anywhere yet and i have to get my music around so I let people download it for free.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

— I know a couple of people trying to make it out like me including my sister she has some hot lyrics I know we’re gonna make it i got faith. And to anybody else out there grind hard every day don’t stop, your gonna have doubters but you cant let that stop you.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

— I would just listen to the beat im writing my lyrics to so I could get the rythem.I really dont have a song process my lyrics really just come to me easy .

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

— Nah I don’t have a webite. I use soundcloud to share my music y’all can go check my music out a soundcloud.com/richh0miedre .

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

— If i was given half a million dollars I would by studio equipment so my music could have better quality in it. I would find some place quite and build a little studio so me and my sister could record our songs and make hits.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

 — Ways i promote my music is my social media pages.It works better when i get people to help me promote my music.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you

want to talk about?

— Everyday I be writing lyrics no matter if its for a song or not. Yea I got this new project im working on its something new i aint tried doing but I been working on it for a couple of days now its almost complete.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

–Well I also had a dream to play football but that dream went down the drain when i had got in a wreck and broke my leg, I thank the lord everyday for healing my leg back right for me but im done with that football dream.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

— I take everything day by day and i always get my responsibilities done first before start my day with rapping and writing lyrics

Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?

–Im gonna be dropping some more hot stuff so all my fans look out for that, I’ll be dropping something new soon to.
