Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
TAE WILL: I’m 18; I started doing music when I was 14 seeing that was the only way to conqueror my true being with all the things i lost and that took place in my life for the past 4 years growing up on the north side of Wichita ks. I got my first show in Lawrence, KS the summer of 2015 with B.right. Since then I’ve headlined 6 recent shows iv got my self and organized. I’ve generated over 100,000 views on sound-cloud. I’m certain if I move to YouTube the same will happen. Right now I’m just waiting on the right visuals for my videos and that cinematic view, but it’s pretty hard to find major level quality in Wichita KS. For the moment I’m just getting my face and music on the different platforms, so when my release ships OGKING TAE WILL , I’m not being looked over. I record up to 3 songs a day. I have my own personal studio built in ive been working on day by day producing my own sound and wav.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Artist: my name was originally TAE YOUNG i just evolved in to the man im now TAE WILL, god is my inspiration he blessed me to be the OG KING
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Artist:i think online music sharing is great to get the work and word out but its not contributing to any money. ive been giving my music away for years free and it been a huge amount of respect but there comes a time in life i should be paid for my dream. those who believe the beauty of there dreams the future belongs to you.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Artist: you have to for ever be consuming knowledge, learn lessons from mistakes everything takes time. make precise movements stay humble never let the left hand know what your right hand is doing.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Artist: when i first started it actully took a full day to write a song now it is less then 20-30 min it takes me. for the pass years my creativity has grown tormentingly sometimes if i cant get a idea i will go to my team and they through me some words as i take ideas and make hits with everlasting word play. most times i already have my team rocking and kicking noding heads when im just spitting out ideas befor i go in the booth. i only gather inspiration from the key to life.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
TAE WILL: put in 50,000 up front for my album and another 50000 for my brand and promo etc. spend a hundred thousand on giving back and building churches. invest in businesses and build a 20 thousand dollar studio in my home town.give my mom 50000 and the rest will be put to proper usage.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
TAE WILL:i contact as many djs ,music promoters,brands,and fans as possible and let them know before i release anything and i seen hat builds over time. after so long i gangrened a team and surrounded my self with people of he same style like other /tae wills that believe my craft as much as i did and they share and promote for me and i started kicking off.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
TAE WILL: im done with my album just waiting to release in July currently im working on a mixtape with artist junior the golden child called ‘FAMILY’
is about how we grew u on the north side of town where everything happens, how reviling life is and the trips and triggers that will set your mind on another level wile watching everyone you ever knew become so distant.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
TAE WILL:i dont see my self doing nothing else, music is a everlasting inspiration the key to life
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
TAE WILL: i learn Don’t wait. The time will never be just right so if you want to be successful you must focus! music was and still is the only thing on my mind! business comes first! Don’t wait.

Im releasing a 11 original song album called “OG KING TAE WILL” brings you the album of life and spiritual healing all in thous who contributed in the climb would understand the story. most could only judge what i had to go through to make it this far i gave everything blood sweet and tears lost and fallen most of all the love of my family and team (junior)(corbin) (jimal) (deasian) kept me with the mind of greatness. miracles dont exist only time and dedication prefects your life. i choose my road choose yours!
