Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What
made you decide to become an artist?

Sege Bami is an Artist, Songwriter and a musician.He started
playing keyboard at the age of Ten and his other instruments are voice
and drums.
His genre of music is Afrobeat Soul.His music was influenced by Artist
like Stevie Wonder,Seal,Sade,Femi Kuti,D’angelo and Common
Sege Bami grew up in the city of Lagos,Nigeria.Decided to become an
artist because of the strong passion for music

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your
inspiration behind it?

Its basically my full name that was shortened and the
inspiration behind it is the love for HipHop.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you
ever give your music away for free? Why?

Online music sharing is a good thing to do for any artist who
wants to pass thier music accross.
I put a few music online,and the reason is to get buzz out there for
more fans around the world.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any
smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some
tips?

They need to create more music which means put in more work
and creativity, and also consider online music sharing.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration?
What is your usual songwriting process?

My society helps me gather my songwriting inspiration.
Sometimes i hear tuneS in my head when am walking on the road or while
just at home chilling.

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do
you use to share your music?

Working on the band website at the moment for an
upgrade.Soundcloud is the platform we use to share music.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year
off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

If i am given half a million dollars and a year off,i will set
up music studio where i can teach the less privileged kids that loves
music but cant afford the lessons.
travel to some part of the world,push my music more and work with
incredible artistes out there.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works
best for you?

I use online music sharing basically and that really works for
me.Though radio is a good platform too.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you
want to talk about?

Working on a new music and also in the process of shooting a
video for the particular song we are promoting at the moment.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

If am not making music i will be making leather craft
accessories or teaching.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities
while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

It could be difficult really but i always make sure i listen
to music in-between every responsibility to stay ahead
