Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
GT : I was born in New Jersey but moved back n forth to Delaware n back through out the years between the two states , honestly since younger days I always was a fan of music and even poetry .. I got that from my mom and father I would assume ., they introduced me .
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
GT: the name Quizzy was just given to me thru high school days , and then I soon three Grindtime on myself as I seen my work ethic not just with music either ,
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
GT : the online music sharing thing isn’t a bad idea honestly . And it’s time consuming always a click away and I do give my music away for free for now but that’s the sweat we have to put in as just building up from the ground up . I want people to hear my music and let me show them a reason why they should support and maybe buy future material or even other merchandise .
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
GT: honestly the only thing I’d say is to be consistent , stay hungry and be in it for the right reasons and plenty good will eventually approach u .
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
GT: life aspects , things I go thru , or see others around me go thru usually .. If I’m not kicking back blazing a joint .. But my family is most inspiration because I want to one day be able to tell them they won’t want for nothing !
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
GT: as of right now I’m only on YouTube with a few visuals & soundcloud as well with a load of music .
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
GT: half a mill and a year off , I’m still going to enjoy myself of course but I’m still going to keep busy with music and spend lots of time with the family making sure they are all straight .
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
GT: usually Instagram , Twitter , and Facebook .. Gets the word around quick to friends and others . I also network outside of the social media with people I come across .
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
GT: next I have an upcoming mixtape that will be dropping sum time this year .. Name of the tape is | A$AP3 | All $inners are praying 3 ,
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
GT: if I wasn’t making music I still would b working I’m not sure exactly where or doing what but I still wouldn’t be standing around looking hopeless I tell u that lol
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
GT: I do a decent job , life is life and things get hard but for the most part me working and having a income plays a big role .. So until my big break Ima keep doing what I have to ,
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
GT: in 2k16 fans should look forward to a different feel of music as I’m exploring different sounds and creating my image , also shows and other events I will be attending and hopefully radio air play ..
