Portia Dee is a pop singer from Canada who was discovered by a music producer and manager after answering an ad in the local newspaper for new talent.Right away they were impressed by her unique look,charm,and talent.She began to get booked singing cover songs while recording in the studio.In a whirl wind of events Portia found herself being pulled into another direction.She was cast in a popular VH1 T.V. show that led her to put music on hold and move to Los Angeles,CA.After the show ended,she wanted to get back into music and was in search of the right producers to collaborate with.Luck struck again after a chance meeting with a Billboard Reporting Dj who saw a spark in the young singer and decided to take her under his wing.With the help of another super talented producer who worked with JLO and Natalia Kills,the trio worked hard to create the sensationally addictive new single,’Live Your Fantasy.’
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Portia Dee: I am originally from Canada. I moved to the States after booking a tv show on VH1.
I always was involved with music and singing so deciding to become an artist was an easy choice for me.
I began writing and recording in the studio and started to book shows.I also began building my online presence.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Portia Dee: I would probably be a tv anchor. But honestly i couldn’t really see myself do anything else but music and performing.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Portia Dee: You have to be really focused on your goals and keep really organized.
Instead of going out with friends and partying you have to keep your priorities straight.Working really hard and following your dreams pays off!
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
Portia Dee: Definitely more music and more shows.
